Robin paints the landscape around Nyirripi, a community where he lives with his extended family. He features in the landscape large gum trees, sand dunes, and the flat top hill that is Karku.

Karku is a very important hill for Warlpiri people as it is a rich ochre mine. Ochre is used for body painting during ceremony. This is a beautiful artwork and it is most unusually painted using white paint over black - the artist has cleverly painted in negative; ie black is the background colour and the white paint is applied over the top.
