In 'Two Women Dreaming', the larger concentric circles represent the ceremonial sites where the women engage in women's business, such as ‘painting up’ for ceremony. This involves women applying natural pigments to their bodies. The arc-like adjoining lines are representative of the ‘Song lines’ that connect the two ceremonial sites. ‘Song Lines’ are the travel lines - as the women journey from sacred site to sacred site they sing the ceremonial songs relevant to their Dreamings.
